We’re going live on June 20, 2025...
We have worked intensively for over a year: digitizing and translating texts, refining the methodology, writing the first commentaries, and most importantly, developing the platform both technically and from the user perspective. On April 2, 2025, we tested everything together, gave feedback, collected suggestions for improvement. Now we can proudly announce that on June 20, 2025, we will launch the platform online for everyone.
Starting June 20, 2025, the platform will offer, among other things:
The Septuagint (LXX) in Greek and German (each in the edition of the German Bible Society)
The works of Philo in Greek and partly in German (Cohn/Wendtland and Cohn editions)
The Liber Antiquitatum Biblicarum in Latin
Selected Jewish inscriptions in Greek
The Testament of Moses in Greek, German, and English
The Testament of Abraham in Greek, German, and English
An excerpt from Bardaisan in Syriac and German
The Book of Jubilees in Old Ethiopic
Parts of the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs
We are currently in the process of digitizing and licensing additional texts until our corpus is complete.
We will present our project at the EABS annual conference in Uppsala this year.
