Published: Epiphanies of the Divine
The fifth international symposium of the Corpus Judaeo-Hellenisticum, held in Nottingham (UK) in May 2015, focused on humanly experienced manifestations of God in the writings of the Septuagint and the New Testament. The resulting 627-page conference volume has now been published, edited by Mark Wreford and Roland Deines. At the Mohr Siebeck stand during this year’s General Meeting of the Societas Novi Testamenti Studiorum in Durham, Roland Deines presented the first copy to Karl-Wilhelm Niebuhr in the presence of Jens Herzer. Niebuhr and his colleague Roland Deines had revived work on the Corpus Judaeo-Hellenisticum in Jena starting in 2001. The newly published book is dedicated to Karl-Wilhelm Niebuhr on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
